Banking on Benin's villages

IFAD's microfinance and marketing project has allowed microentrepreneurs to obtain loans and acquire marketing skills. "Thanks to this loan, I have been able to send my children to school, to buy better food and to improve the living standards of my family," says Elisabeth, a village entrepreneur.
