Agricultural Development Project

The project was designed to increase food production, improve the health of the livestock population and increase the fish catch. It built on the achievements of the Agricultural Reconstruction Programme, which supplied a wide range of services to smallholders in crop, livestock and fish production. The project aimed to provide a basis for longer-term development of agriculture in Uganda by strengthening agricultural institutions and by carrying out research trials.
