Coconut Development Project

The objective of this agricultural development project was to reverse a decline in coconut production by helping farmers develop markets, product processing, smallholder plantations, management and coordination. It supported services such as training and research and improvements in storage facilities, quality control, supply of fertilizers and other material, and soil and water conservation. Some 375,000 people benefited directly from project activities.
