Smallholder Cash and Export Crops Development Project (PDCRE)

The overall aim of the project was  to increase incomes for poor rural families by improving their cash crop yields and sales. It mainly assisted coffee and tea growers producing and processing arabica coffee and high-quality tea, and strengthened 10 cooperatives in these value chains. It also supported the introduction of cooperative-managed sericulture in the country.
