IFAD partners in Mozambique IFAD is an active partner of the Mozambican government, supporting sectoral strategies and using government planning and financial management systems in order to minimize transaction costs and to strengthen the government's own financial management capacity. Since 2007, the UN system in Mozambique implements the “Delivering as One” Operational Plan. IFAD has been an active partner of the One Programme through the recently closed FAO/IFAD/WFP Joint Programme on “Building Commodity Value Chains and Market Linkages for Farmers’ Associations”. IFAD is also an active member of several sectoral working groups, developed to harmonize and coordinate between development partners in order to obtain an optimized environment for sustainable development in Mozambique.
