Consolidation and Achieving Sustainability of the Market Linkages Programme

The project’s overall goal was to improve incomes and livelihoods of smallholder farmers by transforming commodity associations into viable business entities with the capacity to produce and trade in selected high-value commodities. The project helped improve the production of high-value crops to meet agribusiness requirements, trained farmers in new varieties and production technologies, and ensured they had access to credit and agricultural inputs.
